For Elizabeth, it was a second chance at love, and Matt quickly became everything she and her children, Alex and Ellie, had prayed for. His humor, love for basketball and video games, and willingness to simply be present made him the perfect fit for their family. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, adventures, and family-first moments—from renovating their home and traveling, to endless games of pickleball. The greatest blessing came in May 2024 when Matt helped deliver their son Elias, a moment that deepened their bond even further. Through it all, Elizabeth and Matthew remain best friends who cherish time with each other and their kids, grateful every day for the love and family they’ve built.
