How do you approach the day?
Our goal is for you to remain entirely present, forgetting the lenses are even there. We bring a calm presence to your celebration and operate in the background to capture your day with absolute authenticity, thriving in the candid, in-between moments rather than forced poses.
When will we receive our completed films?
Your edited cinematic chapters and feature films are delivered within 4 to 6 weeks of your celebration, or sooner.
Do you edit and color grade your films?
Absolutely. Every film undergoes a rigorous, high-end post-production suite: true-to-life color grading, seamless exposure consistency, and pristine audio clarity, for a timeless, editorial aesthetic.
Do you use artificial intelligence to edit our films?
Absolutely not. Every single frame of your wedding film is hand-edited, sound-designed, and color-graded in-house by James and Keri. We reject automated templates in favor of a bespoke aesthetic that honors your love story.
What is the investment when booking your studio?
Cinematic wedding films begin at $2,750, photography at $3,750, and Wedding Content Creation at $550. Every collection is tailored to your day after our creative consultation.
What is your schedule for payments?
A standard initial retainer and an electronically signed agreement secure your date. We offer payment plans and flexible payment options to suit your timeline, with the final balance settled 14 days before your wedding, all tracked in a private online portal.
Do you film at multiple locations on the wedding day?
Yes. Ceremony, portraits and reception at different venues are standard for us, and we plan the drive times into your timeline. Destination weddings are quoted individually.
What cinema systems do you use?
Sony, Nikon, and RED digital cinema camera systems paired with state-of-the-art lenses, with comprehensive redundant backup systems at every celebration.
Do you bring professional lighting?
Yes. We use advanced, low-profile continuous lighting arrays and modifiers that blend into your venue’s ambiance, so whether it’s a dim ballroom or a starlit reception your film keeps a polished, cinematic depth.
Do you maintain liability insurance?
Yes, completely. Ashley Film Studios carries comprehensive commercial liability insurance and can provide your planner or venue with a certificate of coverage in advance.
Do you work with celebrities or high-profile clients?
Yes. We regularly commission films for public figures and families whose lives are lived in the public eye, with extensive experience working under NDAs and managing entirely private archives.
How do we officially book your studio?
We provide a secure digital portal where you review your custom collection, sign your agreement, and complete your retainer in a few clicks. Once finalized, your date is locked into our calendar.
