Ashley Film Studios is a husband-and-wife wedding videography team based on Long Island, joined by lead photographer Colleen Reilly. We film throughout the Hamptons and the East End, all the way out to Montauk.
Montauk weddings are about the ocean: ceremonies above the beach, dune portraits in the late light, and receptions where the sound of the waves never quite fades. Wind is the real challenge out here, so we use professional audio on the vows and readings, and we film in 4K on Sony, Nikon and RED cinema systems.
Lead photographer Colleen Reilly can join the film team on one shared timeline, or be booked on her own.

How do you get clear audio on a windy beach?
We put lav mics on the couple and officiant, wired to dedicated recorders rather than wireless, so nothing drops out. Placement is planned around the wind, so vows stay clear even on an oceanfront ceremony.
Do you know the noise and vendor rules out east?
Yes. Many East End venues have music cutoffs and limits on drones and vendor vehicles. We plan the timeline and gear around each venue’s rules.
When do Montauk summer dates fill up?
Peak Saturdays from late June through September often book 12–14 months out. Late spring and October have more flexibility.
